Biography

More than 35 years Music Business (since 1972)

...extraordinary history...
...gratitude to everyone who has supported me and to all those,...
...who have accompanied me so far.

This is how it all started

After Bellaphon Records in Frankfurt / Main (1972) (first PR experiences, I promoted John Kincade, Daniel Boone, CCR, Nectar) I went to Global Records in Munich. Donna Summer "Love To Love You", Joy Flemming, Hoffmann & Hoffmann "Himbeereis zum Frühstück"! And the great names of the international publisher's catalogue, were all part of the repertoire.

I made up my mind to become independent after 4 years and, however, took another promotion job shortly afterwards from Global for the comeback of Gitte Henning "Freu Dich Bloß Nicht Zu Früh". Liberal promotion for radio followed and some were "no. 1 hit" like: Sandra "Maria Magdalena", Falco "Rock Me Amadeus", Shakespear's Sisters "Stay", David Bowie with Tin Machine and Alphaville.

4 years later I worked for Jack White and his internationally successful artists followed: Laura Brannigan "Gloria", Audrey Landers from "Dallas", Pia Zadora & Jermain Jackson "When The Rain Begins To Fall" and his German-speaking artists: Andrea Jürgens, Tony Marshall, Severine, Lena Valaitis.

Cooperation with international clients: Maurice Jarre (3-time Oscar winner "Dr. Zhivago ", "Laurence of Arabia" and "Passage to India" and one of the greatest film score composers of our time) as well as Chip Davis (Mannheim Steamroller), Christmas music usually sold over 14 Mill. times in the USA.

1985 foundation of my own company "Blue Box Publishing & Promotion" (publishing, management, promotion) which was renamed "Blue Box Music & Media" later.

First hit with own publications in many European countries: Two of U.S. "Blue Night Shadow" (publishing, management & PR)

Second hit: Cooperation reaches for construction and one with Camouflage "The Great Commandment" (publishing, management & PR) .

US-Deal (Atlantic Records) & Chart-success in over 16 other countries.

"Gold" "from the German group "Pur" with songs like "Ich Hab Mich Wieder Mal An Dir Betrunken" and ", "Funkelperlenaugen" (radio PR and publishing).

Cooperation with Peter Maffay "Tabaluga" and "Maffay 96" (number 1) first platinum award. PR for Jule Neigel on Peter's label "Red Rooster Records".

Excellent comeback for the legendary band "Sparks" with their song "When Do I Get To My Way". Another Gold reward.. Speaking of "legendary bands", I also succeeded in placing "America" ("Horse With No Name") in Germany charts again - as well as for the group "Air Supply" and UK composer "Mike Batt" (Bright Eyes).

With experience as a singer when I was younger, I had my own band and always tended towards qualitatively good music - even musical personality and made my distinctive decisions. I never strove for a career as a singer, however, just for the fun of it, sang the advertising hit of "Milka" which gave me a new nickname for a short time… Listen to the song "Lila Pause … holladiooo" That's me!

Planned radio visits followed with Germany's real "supermen" and singing actors: Uwe Ochsenknecht and Heiner Lauterbach, as well as Hubert Kah.

In the course of the boy group fever in Germany, deals with Sony and chart entries of the 7 smart guys of "Construction" (management & PR) were achieved. Award: RSH Gold.

The dream of realizing a small, fine pop label came true by Jack White Productions AG for a short time only in 2000. Signings like "Howard Jones" and "Fools Garden" were established and hit the charts again.

2002 - a very successful cooperation with WSM on the occasion of "Nena 20 years Nena" comeback. (radio & tv PR) and the year closed with another Gold award.

I confidently and optimistically look toward the year 2003 and hope that in the future I can fulfil all my dreams and new visions and I will always keep my love for the music and its makers.
